Each year, the IHC recognizes those who go above and beyond in executing innovative health and benefit management programs, or providing those solutions to organizations. The Boeing Company’s benefits management team demonstrated significant use of technology to automate, standardize, and streamline the reporting of supplier proposals. In addition, Boeing is now able to collect historical data for strategic planning and negotiation. The automation of the proposal reporting process also streamlined the annual renewal updates, reduced reporting variations among suppliers by 70%, and reduced associated consulting fees by 35%.
“By re-evaluating the way Boeing receives, processes and stores its data, the benefits team has effectively leveraged technology to ensure the efficient, accurate and compliant performance of routine administrative tasks,” said Michael Byers, CEO, HighRoads. “This enabled them to re-focus employee resources on strategic initiatives as well as reduce consulting fees. We are very pleased to see them recognized for their exceptional results.”
The Boeing Company joins the growing list of HighRoads customers to be recognized for benefits management innovation, vision and successes. Other HighRoads customers to receive industry awards for their use of innovative benefits management technology include: AT&T, Dell, Hannaford Supermarkets, H-E-B, Kraft Foods, NEEBco, Pitney Bowes, and Staples.
